Jaceex Ventures LLP is an Education Services Company , a North East India based DIPP and Assam Govt registered Start up operating the Japan Centre of Excellence (Jaceex) and having the flagship Youth4Japan and SSW Japan programs. The focus is to build a bond of Indo Japan relationships through various Educational and Cultural avenues.
Jaceex is focused on driving Indo Japan educational opportunities in North East India and currently focused on Japanese language training and skill development Programs. JACEEX is engaged in training Indian youths in employable skills and placements of skilled and semi-skilled Indian youths in Japan under various private initiatives as well as government-to-government programs.

Job Description:
We are looking for Business Development / Sales Executives to be based in various locations of the North East India .

Location: Guwahati , Shillong, Imphal , Aizawl, Itanagar, Gangtok,

The roles and responsibilities will be as under.

  • Build new alliances for Jaceex
  • Mobilize students for various courses offered by Jaceex
  • Explore new business opportunities in the area of professional and Career Oriented courses.
  • Identify sales opportunities for Jaceex.
  • Build relationships to establish Jaceex Study Centers in Educational Institutions.
  • Manage business relations with existing customers to increase the depth of existing relationships.
  • Organizing Seminars, Events etc at Clients end.
  • Organizing various Outreach activities for Sales generation.

Full Job Description

Jaceex-Japan Centre of Excellence requires Executives in Business Development Marketing & Admissions as well as project management for various locations in the North East Regions.

Following are the job responsibilities:

1. Visit schools and colleges to fix seminars as well as deliver seminars

2. Collect data of students from seminars in order to keep them connected with Jaceex.

3. Provide logistical and intellectual support during physical events which will directly aim at increasing admissions

4. Counselling prospective students (Online as well as Offline) in order to motivate and in turn enroll them into the various Japan Focussed Opuurtunities that Jaceex Offers.

5. Follow-up with students to verify any application issues, including discrepancies or missing information

6. Visit School/college activities during exams, results, fests etc

7. Meet and build relationships with various coaching centres, Tutorials, book shops and places frequently visited by students

The BDE is responsible for promoting and selling multiple courses and opportunities under the Youth4Japan program to potential students/ candidates. Responding to inquiries from potential students on various programs, and identifying the appropriate programs to meet these goals. The primary function of this position is to maximize each opportunity to market programs to meet and exceed the enrolment targets for the organisation under the various Youth4Japan programs .

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Setting sales goals and developing sales strategies. Researching prospects and generating leads.
  • Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.
  • Managing the sales process through specific software programs. Building and maintaining a CRM database.
  • Responding to email, telephone and walk-in inquiries from potential students; promoting the programs and services of Jaceex.
  • Interviewing potential students to explore their background, interests and identify their individual career goals; advice on appropriate programs to meet their goals.
  • Completing enrolment of new students, including related paperwork and providing information on payment options
  • Maintaining records to track and follow up on potential leads, providing motivation and encouragement to potential students as appropriate
  • Tracking and reporting on daily, weekly activities (i.e. leads, appointments, interviews, enrolment)
  • Providing ongoing coaching/motivation to students to support successful conversion to the program
  • Participating in online and offline sales and marketing info-sessions, events, roadshows, open houses, school tours, home visits and any other similar BTL activities
  • Establishing and maintaining weekly targets
  • Building strong relations with the accounts that the BDE is handling.

Position Requirements

4. Education and Experience:

  • Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of post-secondary admissions and/or student outreach experience is required
  • Fluency in English
  • Work experience in student outreach for higher ed/edtech company is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Proficient in Photoshop or similar applications in an added advantage

Qualification and Role Proficiency Required:
For successful execution of the job, the candidate should preferably possess the following:

  • Graduate or Post Graduate Degree preferably in Business Related Subjects.
  • Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local languages.
  • Computer Literacy with adequate proficiency in MS Office, Cloud based applications like Drop Box ,Google Drive etc
  • Should be an adopter of Technology applications as we at Jaceex are highly technology driven.
  • Soft Skills Required.
  • Excellent lead generation and conversion skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work successfully as a part of a team.
  • Sincerity, Dedication, Spirit of Entrepreneurship and attitude will be important parameters.
