Area manager plays a very important and specified role in pharmaceutical sales . He is the first person which is directly in touch with medical representative ( MR ).He is the 1st trainer of MR. Every MR find a ideal person in his manger. So, that a manager should be smart, bold, energetic, predictable, problem solving skills, adaptability, ability to work on a team, team coordination, team motivations,respect for leaders and co-workers.

For the AREA MANAGER 1st interview is taken by the regional manager and after that zonal manager . area manager finalise by the senior authority of in company depend on the company norms interview mainly two type of questions asks.

A manager always ready to help co-workers and guide in all good or worst condition. he is the mentor or like a father for co-worker ( MR ).

manager should have clear and clean thinking about the company strategies. on the behalf of that he will guide his co-worker. A area manager shuld have some below qualities

He always drive a team for maximum and good revenue. he maintains a healthy relation with all team mates. every person has different thinking, nature and prospect. Area manger always handle different different nature co-workers. it is very hard task to meet with every co-worker expectation. his work is directly dependent on medical representatives. so, he always try to understand the nature of every person and create solution on the spot.

He always be ready to handle the situation in doctor chamber or have answer of doctor’s question. he should have good knowledge of brands, scientific benefits, merits , pack and price, competitor brand merits and demerits. he also knows about the scientific reason behind the combination of two molecule. Always try to enroll in company activity and for CME. A area manger always work in specific team member and in a specific geographical area. He always ready to resolve the issue of specific area and issue like doctor related, chemist related, stockist related.

Area manager give time to time primary sale data to medical . check the call coverage, call average and call frequency of his team. Check the inputs distribution and confirmed from team for 100% implementation of company strategies in his team. any check related issue between stockist and cfa (carrying and forwarding agent ) which is solved or instructed by a area manager. manger conducted review meet for his team and in this meeting analyse the problems in that area and find why or where we have lack position . he suggest his team.

  • OPD campaigns
  • Shortlisting of institute , permission of superidendent or dean, ensuring inventory

Salary: ₹375,000.00 - ₹575,000.00 per year
