Skill Sets
Plans, documents and implements product tests and verifications.
Reviews test strategies and test prioritization with management and engineering groups
Executes the software test plans to ensure high quality across various platforms and timely delivery
Creates & enhances automated tests suite towards commitment to better quality and reduced time for validation/testing
Works with the team and product owners/architect in product design & development
Academic qualifications
Bachelors or similar qualifications from a reputed educational instituion.
Any testing certification (like ISTQB) is desirable
Work experience
3-6 years of experience in testing UI and/or non-UI based application/software. Work experience in SCRUM teams will be desirable
Hands on experience in writing testcases, execution and reporting/validation of bugs
Hands on experience in creation & maintenance of automated tests & testsuites
Excellent knowledge of various testing techniques/methodologies
Excellent knowledge of designing test cases/plan
Experience with tools like JIRA/ClearQuest/Confluence/BugZilla
Previous experience with automation looks like Selenium, Protractor is desirable
Experience in writing shell scripts/programs (in any language) will be desirable
