POSITION SUMMARY WomenLift Health is seeking a Program Coordinator to work closely with the India Training Lead and the India Program Director to coordinate systems and processes to efficiently administer and support the operations of the WomenLift Health training program (“The Leadership Journey”) for mid-career women leaders in health in India. Through facilitated discussions, mentoring, coaching, and hands-on exercises, the program imparts contextualized tools & frameworks to address the individual, organizational, and societal challenges that women leaders in health face today. The India-based Leadership Journey will initially operate 1 cohort in 2022 with 30 women for a 12-month duration and will scale up to 2-3 cohorts per year and incorporate additional short-term training modalities in the future. Given the importance of the Leadership Journey to the participants, the organizations in which they work, and the WomenLift Health vision, the ideal candidate is deeply passionate about this work. They possess a keen eye for detail, value planning and organization, and demonstrate effective communication skills. They must comprehensively coordinate and execute all operational elements of the India Leadership Journey, including the technical production of virtual learning sessions, planning and logistical implementation of eventual in-person events, and the delivery of a high-quality participant experience. They will also contribute to the Leadership Journey’s monitoring, evaluation, and learning plan. The ideal candidate should be able to toggle adeptly between independent and team work. Given that the Program Director and Training Lead will be deeply involved in scaling the Leadership Journey and other WomenLift initiatives across India, the Program Coordinator must be able to exercise clear judgment when delineating issues that can be managed independently versus those that should be escalated to supervisors. Keen observation, astute judgement, and proficient coordination skills are critical to success in this position. This recruitment is for 1 full-time (100% FTE) position. Ideally the candidate will be located in Dehli, though we will also consider candidates in other locations in India. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with the Training Lead, coordinate the operational platforms, systems, and processes for the annual Leadership Journey (up to 2-3 cohorts per year once scaled):
    • Support the call for applications, management & review of applications, and onboarding of the women selected for the program
    • Disseminate information to support the cohort members along the duration of the program, via email communications and the program’s virtual learning platform
    • Serve as a reliable point of contact for the cohort members; identify and resolve issues that are logistical or administrative
    • Help set program priorities and keep track of key milestones and deliverables according to established program timeline
    • Help to develop and manage systems to track each members’ leadership projects
    • Help to design, build, and manage mentor, peer, and alumni networks for Indian cohorts
  • Plan and implement Leadership Journey-related sessions and events:
    • Support the biweekly/monthly virtual sessions attended by the cohort members, both technically and programmatically.
    • Take responsibility for technological production of all virtual sessions (on Zoom)
    • Coordinate the logistics and event planning for 2 in-person residencies during the 12-month program – an initial 3-day leadership Immersion a closing 2 day “Leadership Lift-Off” event. These in-person events may be held in other India locations and may require travel.
    • Schedule the mentoring sessions and any other mentor engagements
  • Support scheduling and meeting operations with core implementing partners, as well as multi-partner workshops and discussions
  • Support scheduling and meeting operations for the India program Director
  • Communicate on the behalf of WomenLift Health with internal and external program stakeholders such as the cohort members, program mentors, coaches, facilitators and India implementing partners
  • Assist WomenLift Health India communications personnel with the development of India cohort training materials by contributing to development of presentations, invitations, brochures, website collateral, social media assets, etc.
  • Support program monitoring, evaluation, and learning efforts by establishing and updating core metrics of the Leadership Journey, which encompass the application process, virtual activities, in-person residencies, leadership project, mentoring sessions, coaching sessions, and peer engagement
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5 or more years of related experience in activities including administration, training implementation, project management, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting; or combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
  • Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software, email, and website applications.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED):
  • Background in global health, gender equity, and leadership development, particularly in an Indian context
  • Additional language preferred, but not required
