Urgently Hiring For Leading Chain Of Hotel Industry For Kolkata Location
1. Budgeting and Performance tracking
· Manage and deliver the annual Business plan for the Asset.
· Analyze and report on the business and financial performance of the hotel and the asset, at the agreed frequency, covering revenue, costs, compliance, customers etc. to include a) variance analysis and addressal of actual with budget & forecast and b) benchmarks with competition and industry
· Engage with Operation team at the asset and work with other teams at corporate to solve problems, enhance revenue and manage costs. Participate and represent corporate in the pegboard and other Operation meetings.

2. Revenue monitoring and enhancement
· Sales and marketing: Understand and monitor the sales and marketing plan for the hotel and suggest improvements as guided by the COO.
· Ensure that all revenue making areas of the hotel are given focus | Monitor, evaluate and report on the impact of the local and cluster sales and marketing spends on the asset
· Monitor competition and industry performance – identify and work on areas for improvement
· Drive new revenue streams as per business plans and guidelines

3. Asset Value Preservation
· Carry out a physical audit of the asset and report on the health / maintenance / aesthetic / look and feel of all parts of the Hotel including rooms, common areas, equipment, banquets, F&B, outlets, facade . Share observations with the hotel operating team, corporate team and track and report on actions
· Identify and create a list of all repairs and refurbishments to be carried and share the requirements with quality and timeline specs to projects for a) annual repairs, refurbishment and (preventive) maintenance including AMCs b) for breakdowns, repairs and unscheduled needs
· Track and report on the completion of all such work by projects – coordinate with the operating team and projects for smooth execution

4. Cost management and optimization
· Monitor, track and report on all costs (from HLP to perishables to manning) for the asset on a monthly basis. Address problems and variances and how they will be managed and improved
· To verify rebates, allowances, cancellation, complimentary, discounts, outlets entertainment, service recovery, loyalty program, etc.
· Monitor and report on Account Receivables and Accounts Payable

5. Procurement and Purchases
· Review purchase / service contracts of hotel for and verify validity and adherence at the time of payments
· Review and compile all purchase requests submitted by the operator for a) validity b) share own recommendations on vendors and quality guidelines and share with Procurement team. Track progress made by the procurement team and escalate as required
· Follow the procurement process as laid down by the Corporate office and ensure compliance by the Operator
6. Compliance monitoring
· Work with Corporate Affairs compliance team to ensure that the asset is fully compliant to all laws and regulations (central and local)
· Monitor, track and report actions to taken based audit and regulatory compliance reports to closure. Escalate as required and highlight the business and operational risks involved
· Liaison with local regulatory bodies, as and when required
7. Relationship Management
· Build and manage a constructive, cordial and professional relationship with the Operation team – the GM, the Director Finance and other key members
· Set up and adhere to a meeting and communication plan with the operating team
· Share information, feedback and expectations regularly with the operating team
· Interact informally to understand the pulse of the property as well as to collect market and competitor information

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
