Full Description

+ Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinate managers. Reviews objectives to determine success of operation.

+ Develops, modifies, executes company polices that affect immediate operations and may have company-wide effects.

+ Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

+ Implements strategic processes when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

+ Manages efficient operation of the organization's buildings, facilities, machinery and equipment.

+ Manages of internal staff and external vendors in areas such as facilities security, facilities maintenance and repair, custodial and groundskeeping services, office administration and secretarial services.

+ Responsible for the management of planning efficient utilization of space and facilities.

+ Heads the examination of facilities and evaluating elements, such as HVAC and lighting, for size, condition and suitability.

+ Manages the planning, coordinating and implementing furniture, equipment, office and factory layout and moves. Negotiating lease(s) and monitoring for lease contract compliance.

Minimum Requirements

Senior technical specialist (12+ years experience) responsible for collecting, creating, maintaining, analyzing, and integrating data on public facilities operations, maintenance, ownership, and capital planning within AlUla. Responsible for implementation and integration of standards and norms for Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to be used within the region. Works closely with the HQ Facilities Operations Officer (Private). Reports to AlUla HQ Director.

Preferred Qualifications

Any related degree will be considered for this role but the following subjects will be a plus:

+ building management

+ business studies

+ construction

+ engineering and building services engineering

+ facilities management

+ hospitality

+ management

+ surveying

+ property.

Entry with an HND or foundation degree is also possible after college degree, particularly with subjects such as facilities management, business studies or management.
