Full Description

Duties and responsibilities:
1. To coordinate with the state official, secretariat, directorate and district level
administration and health systems.
2. To oversee the establishment and functioning of regional teams of the project
3. To develop an IEC plan and capacity building process with the regional teams,
orientation of the sub-teams for orientation
4. To undertake Overall Management of the project, including planning,
implementation, monitoring the progress and finance of the project.
Scope of work:
1. Liaison with the State health systems, Karuna Trust and the donor agency for
facilitating covid19 vaccination
2. To collect district wise key information (list of Postal offices, Governments schools/
private schools, taxi unions, NGOs, SHGs) from state offices for planning
3. To collect district wise / age wise /vulnerability wise target statistics present with the
4. To obtain approval from various government departments to undertake collaborative
5. To supervise the regional teams of the project, conduct regular review meetings and
undertake frequent field visits to the districts
6. To understand and develop training modules for orienting various stakeholders
7. To design various Interpersonal Communication materials and organise their printing
and distribution
8. To identify application developer and share the major MIS for the project and work
through development phase
9. To provide detailed project implementation reports to Karuna Trust, share feedback,
suggestions for improvement and build documentation
10. To share the work done with the government offices and funding agency periodically.
Required Skills and Experience
Excellent display of competencies such as interpersonal skills, communication, leadership
and team work, engagement with the community with stakeholders such as varied religious
groups, ability to prioritise multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines. Good command of
written and oral English, Knowledge of local language preferred. Interface with senior
officials of health system at State level, District administration and Health systems.

Candidates who have completed Masters in Public Health or Social Sciences from leading
institutions having 5 Years of Experience with good familiarity of health systems are eligible
to apply. Knowledge of working with NGOs preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language with good
analytical skills required. Candidates who are willing to travel extensively are preferred.

Contract length: 12 months

Expected Start Date: 1/12/2021
