Job Description

We are currently hiring for the Sales Manager position in the Government Vertical

Roles and Responsibilities

The prime responsibility is to get Pressfit products approved for use in the government departments by

  • Approaching and interacting with various government organizations like PWD, CPWD, MHADA, MES, CIDCO, India Post, etc
  • Submitting product portfolios and catalogs to SEs/CEs
  • Inform them of the company history, products, prior project experiences, etc
  • Providing them with product samples, demonstrating product uses and features
  • Completing all the paperwork and required formalities of gaining the approval
  • Submitting Covering Letters, Certificates, Registration Documents, etc as required
  • Carefully maintain and update obtained approval letters in the company database
  • Begin the process of renewals of approvals in due time as per the expiry of older letters

The secondary responsibility is to ensure sales of Pressfit products in the projects under the purview of govt. departments:

  • Gaining information about the contractors assigned to the projects
  • Approaching the contractors, submitting sales quotes, and gaining orders from them
  • Ensuring proper followup, on-time delivery, after-sales service, and clearance of payments
  • Getting performance and recommendation letter from customers/contractors

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Being skilled at using and maintaining Excel databases, writing good letters, making accurate and quick submissions

2. Being skilled at negotiating with govt. engineers for approvals.
