What you will enjoy doing

In this position, you will support the Plant Manager in the following tasks:

  • To organize and coordinate the factory finance and accounting affairs
  • To determine the actual process cost of all the operation, Costing Analysis etc.
  • Responsible for overall accounting of Silvassa Plastics division and Contract manufacturing division.
  • Preparation of yearly Budgeted financials and periodic forecasted financials as per Alpla Group requirements within the timelines in coordination with relevant stake holders.
  • Proper handling of all finance and accounting tasks (e.g. accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, bank accounting and assets accounting) including all relevant tax returns.
  • Preparation of monthly financials and management reports as per Alpla group requirements.
  • Monthly Profitability and variance analysis with budget and forecast.
  • Account analysis and reconciliation of all Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
  • Preparation of stock reconciliation statement.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors and dealing with any financial irregularities as they arise.
  • For Contract Manufacturing - Review of Bill of Material (BOM) for each SKU for correctness of the prices taken for each type of material; Preparation of BOM for each SKU based on actual cost on month on month basis; Preparation of variance statement for each SKU and finalization of amount to be adjusted in selling price based on the actual cost; Periodic calculation of cost of conversion (COC) for each SKU
  • Regular Liaising with the customer specifically relating to costing related issues.
