Job Details

As a member of the Support team, you will leverage advanced technical expertise to resolve complex platform-related issues affecting customers. As an expert, you will enable customer success by helping our customers to overcome crippling technical challenges. You will provide hands-on troubleshooting, feature explanation, and best practice guidance to the broader Technical Support team to assist customers during critical and time-sensitive situations while partnering with development teams.
Location: Hyderabad Or Bangalore

Role Responsibilities:

    • Help customers with challenging complex technical issues and quickly learn new technologies. The main area of focus would be: Cloud Platforms, Containers, Networking, IPSec Tunnels
    • Directly engage with Engineering, Product Management and SRE to triage and provide quantified feedback to help and improve our products
    • Drive outstanding customer experience
    • Promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the knowledge base, blogs, and brown bag lunches
    • Help to improve and optimizing support processes, and build support tools for our customers and internal teams
    • Engage with other cross-functional teams to review and improve customer engagement with MuleSoft Support and products
    • Help to maintain MuleSoft Support as a differentiator

What You'll Achieve:
30 days:

    • You will be able to hit the ground running, master the Anypoint Infrastructure, including container-based solutions, and troubleshooting. You will get familiar with MuleSoft core products and business training

60 days:

    • You will expand your Anypoint Platform and products knowledge and get certified while addressing customer inquiries and triaging issues of clustering and connectivity.

90 days:

    • You will be capable in handling platform inquiries and issues, and consult customers on network and security architecture

Role Requirements:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate customer issues.
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
    • Extensive experience with Internet technologies and protocols like TCP/IP, VPN/IPSec, SSL/TLS and HTTP
    • Hands-on experience with public and private cloud services, such as AWS, Openstack, VMWare, Pivotal Cloud Foundry as well as proxies, load balancers, and networking devices
    • Deep knowledge of Linux fundamentals
    • Design, development, and operations experience with highly available, scalable, and fault tolerant systems
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability especially with respect to understanding, documenting, and describing complex technical subjects
    • Industry relevant experience.

We operate 24x7 which can involve working during one of the below shifts (not limited to- shift timing can change) -
AMER hours (Eastern Standard Time - 5.30 PM/6.30 PM IST or Pacific Standard Time – 9 PM/10 PM IST onwards depending on Day Light Savings Time)
EMEA hours – 12:00 PM/1 PM/2PM IST onwards depending on Day Light Savings Time
APAC hours – 5.30 AM IST onwards
Work hours can change depending on Business requirements.

Preferred Requirements:

    • 3+ years demonstrated expertise implementing, and supporting Enterprise-grade technical systems and networking solutions involving cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP
    • 3+ years demonstrated expertise implementing, and supporting Enterprise-grade technical systems and networking solutions meeting complex business requirements
    • Experience in troubleshooting container and container management technologies such as Docker / Kubernetes.
