Market Job Description


The Control team is responsible for partnering with the relevant business group to identify,assess,manage and mitigate current and emerging risk exposures associated with their activities and operations. Monitors,measures,evaluates and reports on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group and enterprise function. Monitors and reports on its risk concentration,current and emerging risk, and risk appetite.Aggregates,evaluates,reports on results and escalates where necessary.May interface with Audit,Legal,external agencies,and regulatory bodies regarding risk management of business-specific risk programs.May lead project/virtual teams and may mentor but does not manage other team members.

Department Overview


This position is part of Corporate Risk (CR) Control Organization and will play a significant role in supporting reporting & analytics activities.This function have processes that impact Wells Fargo's business groups. The CR Control Executive Team provides Frontline Risk support for all Corporate Risk group's business teams.

Its an Individual Contributor role supporting Corporate Risk Controls group.The individual will be responsible for leading and delivering on reporting and analytics for Corp risk programs and risk type data. Will also be responsible for developing reporting and automation solutions to ease data and reporting routines from I&P.

Responsibilities


The role is expected to have SME capacity in Reporting & Analytics area to support Corp Risk group including Compliance, Operational Risk, Credit/Market/Counterparty Risk, Model risk etc.
  • Provide ongoing broad,enterprise-wide analysis and insights of risk from front line activities throughout Corp Risk,using risk intelligence tools & advanced analytics capabilities to identify emerging trends for front line risk related issues and transforming data into information and actionable insights
  • Lead strategic analysis,consolidation,summary and presentation of results to deliver meaningful insights and actionable information to key business leaders across the company to help drive decisions and change
  • Build analytic outputs in compelling graphical, numerical and other narrative forms
  • Working with assigned stakeholders to capture reporting requirements and integrate their independent observations and point-of-views into reports
  • Developing high-quality,validated,and trusted risk reports that ensures an accurate depiction of risk,risk trends and change-in-risk states
  • Building automated data quality processes and validation routines to reduce manual validation efforts
  • Provide regular updates and prepare presentations for business partners
  • Accountable to train TM's on day to day functional delivery and to ensure quality is maintained

    Essential Qualifications

  • University degree/master degree in Business or any Quantitative discipline
  • Minimum 10+ years of overall experience of which 7+ years in reporting or data analytics function
  • Hands on experience of more than 7yrs on working with visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI)+Data querying(SAS/SQL)tools.Should have built or managed dashboards production routines using either Tableau or PowerBI
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner
  • Strong time management skills & demonstrated ability of multi-tasking without missing deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Must have report writing skills including ability to clearly document activities, processes, Risk, Control and other results
  • Critical thinking & Strong analytical skills.High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Proficiency with MSoffice (MS Word,Excel,PowerPoint)&MS-Visio and build top of the house management presentations

    Desired Qualifications


    • Strong knowledge of the Operational Risk Framework and disciplines primarily in the Banking industry and its related operations
    • Professional Risk Certifications if any
    • Automation skills using Excel/VBA
