Team/Position: Logistics Manager: Import

Logistics Team is a global team responsible for developing and refining Goods/Documents handling for our customers to ensure that Techinark has scalable business model to grow our business and maintain positive unit economics.

The team is seeking a Logistics Manager: Import to help us scale our internal and external services and tools as we grow. As an early hire on our logistics team, you will work closely with our customers, platform management team and key business stakeholders to develop and execute specified business plan.

What’s Expected:

The logistics manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Handle the portfolio of clients involved in Import of Goods

· Understand the requirement, ensure completion of documentation, submission of same to customs and to Banks

· To review and insure alignment of shipping instructions including to clarify any deviations/conflicts taking country regulations, compliance and rate and routing information into consideration to ensure profit maximization

· Coordinate with clients for timely payment and ensure that books are reconciled with the customer and also regulatory reporting requirements are completed with partner Banks

· To immediately report problems, operation disputes or discrepancies to the direct report

· To monitor operational performance of carriers and other vendors and escalate / create awareness if performance and commitments are not being delivered - Initiate and resolve any rate discrepancies

· To work with Customer Care on account implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operations

· To support the Customer Care team in resolving complaints

· Any other requirement raised by the customer

Who you should be:

· A graduate/post-graduate in any discipline from a recognized University in India

· Minimum 5+ years of work experience working in a company involved in import of Agri Commodities/Processed Food/Fruits/Vegetable directly handling the Logistics/import

· Great attention to details and strong work ethic

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong individual and team performance mentality

· Proactivity, humility, and having a basis for action are qualities we highly value

· Prior knowledge of managing import/logistics function in any manufacturing firm

· Prior knowledge of Regulatory/operating environment in India

Expected Salary Range: As per Industry standards based of experience/expertise
