What you’ll do

Lead and manage the application support team, ensure accurate support coverage, and build support processes that embrace continuous improvement.

Develop, supervise, and present KPIs and metrics for application support activities via dashboards.

Ensure accurate handoff of applications as they move from implementation into support.

Deliver accurate and efficient updates to key partners during application incidents.

Maintain knowledge of assigned applications and integrations; ensure accurate use/configuration of applications through continuous training and related certifications.

Proactively recognize issues and resolve or raise as appropriate.

Complete and maintain accurate documentation.

Develops, sells and implements comprehensive project plans, encompassing project team structure and resource assignment, implementation, testing and training plans, creation of a control plan identifying both business process metrics and IT platform quality requirements and ensuring successful transition to support and maintenance teams

Owns all project risk; including time, budget, and scope, and the associated plans to contain and/or mitigate risk

Identifies critical path decisions, makes recommendations, and influences program leaders and business process owners to improve project payback

Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams to deliver projects timely, on-budget, as-requested by customer

Seek, share, and institutionalize standard methodologies

Who you are

Associates degree with 4+ years of professional experience or a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in an application support role.

Two years of experience leading a business facing application support team or alike IT support team.

An experience supporting a sophisticated, multi-vendor application environment. Preferably Identity and Access management and related applications and integrations.

One year of experience with ITIL based change, request, and incident management processes or comparable IT service methodology.

Two years’ experience supporting on-prem applications hosted on Windows Server operating systems and applications hosted remotely in a public or private cloud.

Demonstrable understanding of SQL databases and the ability to write queries for data investigation.

Knowledge of basic network configuration for solving problems application issues.

Experience using ITIL tools such as ServiceNow for managing ITSM processes.

Proven analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Experience demonstrating data/metrics to advise improvement opportunities and provide visibility to team performance.
