We are looking for an enthusiastic business development executive to contribute for the growth of DICV Global Capability Centre. Business development executives are responsible for finding and retaining both internal and external Customers, logically persuading Customers to render GCC’s services.
The goal of the role is to acquire new business and enhance marketing of DICV Global Capability Centre so as to reach new markets

Ideal Candidate: To be successful as a business development executive, you are expected to exhibit exceptional networking skills within and outside of Daimler with the intention of attracting new Customers and retaining existing Customers.
Able to drive topics independently, excellent presentation and communication skills, team player and driven to grow. Should be able to conduct extensive market study and position appropriate GCC offerings.
Experience: 5 + years of experience in GBS /GCC/ SSC organizations with exposure on initiating and executing large scale outsourcing projects
Education: Bachelor’s degree (Minimum), MBA (Preferred)

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to
  • You are responsible to attract potential new Customers through ways such as direct contact, management network, collaboration with Shared services functions etc.
  • You will attend networking activities to research and connect with potential Customers
  • You are responsible to conduct regular market research on trending demands for both within and outside Daimler business and expand the GCC’s portfolio to meet the interests of existing and potential Customers
  • You will benchmark other similar entities and thrive to stay ahead of competition
  • You will be responsible to prepare various business pitch documents and convert business leads to live projects
  • Devise communication campaigns and digital customer engagement
  • You will prepare business case proposals and work closely with respective cross functional teams to get approvals
  • You will also create appropriate business model frameworks in order to run optimized business
  • You will be responsible to negotiate with Customers to secure the most attractive business deals
  • You will contribute to bringing new ideas, tools and materials in order to enhance market presence and revenue generation
  • You will actively participate in the creation and maintenance of an environment that enables the team to manage delivery effectively and achieve the highest quality
  • You will work closely with GCC’s Business analyst and Operations manager in setting up GCC’s strategy, goals and targets so as to scale up Shared service business


Education: Any B achelor’s degree (Minimum), MBA (Preferred)
