Department Overview

The Document Management team manages the transition of paper-based documents into electronic formats, manage document/data/image receipt, retention & retrieval; and ensures cost effective secure compliance. The team provides indexing of electronic and paper images through the Correspondent, Retail and Servicing business channels to support and enhance the customer and business experience

About the Role

Work Director play an extremely important role in motivating and ensuring the team's success. Some of their duties include supervising, communicating organization/team goals, risk awareness, recognizing, career planning and performance evaluation.


As a Team Member manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:
  • Manage process and lead a team of 10+ team members, actively participate in projects/ process enhancements and encourage creative thinking amongst the team
  • Strong business knowledge to answer the process related questions from the team and help them to meet the business objectives.
  • Responsible for daily management of a team, which includes, but not limited to – Capacity Planning, performance reporting on a periodic basis, utilization, cross training for business cycles, reviewing, prioritizing, and distributing daily work to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Have regular calls with the business, understand and articulate to the requirement from the onshore for the smooth course of the process.
  • Understand the feedback received from the onshore team and disseminate the same to the team/team member.
  • Work with team members to analyze the existing practices and generates ideas, utilize simple improvement tools in increasing the team efficiency.
  • Coach, Mentor, Develop, Onboard and provide career development planning and opportunities to the team members.
  • Showcase high level of adherence to Risk & Compliance also ensuring every team member abides by the same.
  • DM/ Indexing or Mortgage Process knowledge is essential

Market Skills and Certifications

Graduation degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in US mortgage domain
  • Flexible to work in shifts ( Night shift ) & during business requirements as & when
  • Ability to handle people, MIS, project etc.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS-office
  • Document Management or Mortgage business knowledge is essential
