Description and Requirements
The Consultant in Enterprise Services delivers technical solutions to customers allowing them to maximize their investment in Microsoft technology. Building upon solid IT project experience relative to their level, these consultants will work with Microsoft's partners to assist customers in the delivery of high-quality engagements around Microsoft's solution areas, technologies, services and products in diverse client environments. The Consultant will also help assist customers in stabilizing developed solutions using Microsoft methodologies in complex customer environments, in the design and development of integrated solutions using the latest Microsoft products, services and technologies and understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure and operations implications of the developed solution. Responsibilities Assist with the identification, pursuit and closure of strategic business development activities Drive client workshops to demonstrate product capabilities and gather customer requirements. Analyze requirements and design technical solutions to meet business goals, objectives and functional/non-functional requirements in alignment with architectural standards. Assist in identifying and creatively solving complex customer problems, envisioning and enabling critical processes, and fundamentally helping the customer to achieve their objectives. Support development of test scenarios/scripts and coordinate client testing of developed solutions. Develop appropriate requirements, design (HLD and LLD), testing and deployment documentation to support the solution delivery on large complex projects. Hands-on expertise in implementing, consolidating, migrating (cross platform) large complex environments. They need to have current and deep experience with the implementation of large complex projects and understanding of competitor technologies. They need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Contribute the best practices, lessons learned and IP from projects to the global community with a focus on continuous improvement. Foster senior level client relationships and engage with senior level client stakeholders to gather requirements, develop plans and drive solution success. Work with other team members and leaders, proactively identify and mitigate/resolve risks and issues. Mentor other staff members. To be effective, the Senior Consultant requires a proven successful background in managing multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to successful completion while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The role requires an individual to be resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skill in both expectation management and crisis management. Senior Consultants are expected to deliver effective strategic presentations to audiences of all sizes and possess excellent communication skills. They will architect solutions by mapping customer business productivity needs to appropriate solutions. They will work very closely with Project Managers and Architects to ensure successful bids and pursuits. They support the achievement of several performance scorecards and key performance indicators directly or through collaboration with other roles in Services and Sales. Key Responsibilities: ? Customer interacting delivery Engineer responsible for successfully designing, validating, documenting, & implementing complex solutions while ensuring exceptional Customer Satisfaction. ? Leverage exceptional professional O365 skills in leading & facilitating customer administrative and technical requests to solving problems, identify changes to customer workloads and determine appropriate solution/approach to resolution. ? Works closely with the Lenovo Field, Customer, & Key Stakeholders. ? Able to execute assigned program based on a service description. ? Bring clarity to ambiguous technical issues where outcomes need to be defined, realized, and executed. ? Work with Customers Technical Stake holders to design and implement solutions. Essential Requirements: ? Subject Matter Expert in supporting medium/large complex Office 365 solutions including workloads: ? Microsoft Exchange Online environments. ? Microsoft Teams for Business – all facets including channels, Chat, Video conferencing, etc. ? Knowledge and proficiency in multiple of the following Microsoft technologies: ? Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). ? Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) 2.0- 4.0 . ? DirSync, Azure ADSync, or Azure ADConnect. ? Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online. ? Teams for Business. ? SharePoint Online. Knowledge and proficiency in configuration and deployment of multiple of the following Microsoft client technologies: ? Microsoft Office Pro Plus, 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007 and 2003 ? Knowledge and proficiency in multiple of the following networking and directory technologies: ? Active Directory sites, trusts, and topology ? Azure Networking – firewall, public/private IP ? Wide-area connectivity: on-premises networks and equipment ? Wide-area connectivity: Internet bandwidth and latency ? Firewall technologies Knowledge and proficiency in multiple of the following legacy messaging systems: ? POP3/IMAP4/SMTP-based mail systems ? O365 Archival systems ? Knowledge and proficiency in multiple of the following M365 Tools: ? M365 Tenant Administration ? Multi-Tenant M365 Administration Desirable Requirements: Self-motivated, takes initiative, ability to work independently & remotely, within a team, or as a leader of a small team Exceptional verbal, written, and troubleshooting skills.
