Job Description

Reporting to the Head - Corporate Communication you will be responsible to -

  • Develop overall communications strategy for the region

  • Provide Input for his regional communication materials like newsletters, blogs, press releases and similar marketing materials in order to promote company's products and services.

  • Implement company's communication plan in order to increase brand awareness.

  • Develop and manage relationships with key media players+ stakeholders to secure and grow media online and offline coverage.

  • Write press releases for local news paper/ local media/ social Media platforms

  • Represents the company in a variety of forums, always promoting the company in the best possible way.

  • Prepare the annual communications budget for the region and ensure its efficiently utilised

  • Work with marketing departments and CSR to generate new ideas and innovative strategies.

  • Branding strategy execution in collaboration with central Corp communication team and Marketing team

  • Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to promote and positively represent the organisation through internal and external communication.

  • Ensure communications consistency among different stakeholders.

  • Prepare detailed quarterly media activity reports.

  • Planning the regional campaign calendar and branding initiatives aligned to the local culture and important events in local region

The Successful Applicant

  • Good communication skills (English and Oriya), both written and oral

  • Masters degree/ Post Graduate in PR/Media Communication/Marketing

  • Good communication skills (English and Oriya), both written and oral

  • Experience in Media Management, Government and Public Affairs

  • The candidate must be familiar and well conversant with all digital tools and platforms of Communications

  • Tactful and adapt and manage difficult issues related to the region
