Who You'll Work With

You will be based in Gurugram and work with the Asia Private Equity and Principal Investor (PEPI) practice team. The team provides support to client teams serving private equity firms and institutional investors and their portfolio companies. You will support the leadership and manage and develop our operations across Asia. You will get an opportunity to work with the highly entrepreneurial team in a pivotal role, and in one of the fastest-growing practices in Asia.

McKinsey PEPI practice is the world’s leading advisor to the industry, and one of the fastest-growing practices in the firm. The practice works with investors of all types. We serve these clients across the ownership cycle, assisting with deal identification, due diligence, and portfolio company operational improvements, as well as on firm-level topics including strategy, governance, and operations.

You will work very closely with Asia PEPI practice manager and other regional and functional managers (e.g. learning, knowledge, research, finance etc.) and work with partners leading the PEPI practice in Asia, the PEPI hubs, and sector domains/JVs.

What You'll Do

You will work with the manager and leaders to shape, drive and coordinate practice priorities across clients, knowledge, and people.
In this role, you will be defining and managing the practice knowledge operations strategy, which knowledge management, and execution of priority knowledge initiatives (including new knowledge creation and dissemination of practice knowledge). You will also be responsible for ensuring a smooth process for updating critical global knowledge (e.g., case library), design new processes where needed, to ensure we are capturing and effectively disseminating the best of what we know.
You will maintain a practice vault, e.g. library of sanitized client documents and LOPs. You will drive the sanitization process for adding documents to the vault. In collaboration with the client teams, you will keep the vault updated and assist client teams in searching the vault for the relevant knowledge.
You will work also support the operational excellence of the practice operations team, including championing best practice transfer. You will convene/support the leaders of the practice meetings and define the agenda and follow up on the implementation of next steps.
