Global MF Scheduler Responsibilities

Overview

The global scheduler's primary responsibility is to maintain a stable and resilient operating environment for all production scheduling systems. The customer base is global across all lines of business and is mainly represented by application support and application development teams. Support is provided on a 7 X 24 X 365 schedule utilizing a follow the sun operating model. Strategic global locations include, Columbus Ohio, Jersey City New Jersey, Hyderabad India.

Represents global scheduling and activities with various support of partner organizations. Effectively reports business critical global scheduling P- 1 issues for the last 24 hours to the Scheduling Management Team. Provide clear communications regarding evolving business critical and strategic initiatives defined by Scheduling Management. Effectively manages personal day to day workload for global scheduling. Very good working knowledge on CA7, Zeke and Control-M.

Maintain strong relationships and communication with ECS Teams.to stay abreast of developments and/or changing needs in operational responsibilities. Maintain awareness and knowledge of developments and capabilities in monitoring initiatives/needs across global scheduling. Is available 24x7 when on call for technical escalation for issues impacting the Global scheduling. Provide input into reports as and when requested by management. Participate in RCAs associated with the Global scheduling environment. Participate in regular efficiency sessions to maintain a list of ideas for driving the Global scheduling team towards our goals and objectives. Contribute to developing a World Class organization, with highly skilled and empowered employees. Upwardly communicate the needs of the Global scheduling.

Participate in zATE Recovery tests and Business Continuity concepts. Ensure all scheduling recovery documentation for expedient, safe, and appropriate response to disasters or outages affecting JPMC infrastructure is documented.

Ensure that operational production processes are clearly documented, communicated, adhered to, and audit compliant. Responsible for making sure that controls are in place to maintain documentation and tracking of activities and responsibilities for Global scheduling. Monitor obsolescence and assist in maintaining current Global scheduling documentation within the JPMC document repository.

Ensures quality and quantity standards are met by developing and monitoring standards around technical implementations and meeting SLAs. Focuses on outcomes and achieves results. Ensures that programs and projects are designed to support and implement company goals and strategic technical objectives.
      • Capable of developing and contributing to technical intra-team and intra-department programs. Capable of developing new processes and improving current processes to be customer focused in line with global scheduling standards.
    • Technical Ability
      • Complete task level expertise and understanding of cross impacts for the team's customer community. Understanding of multiple products in order to integrate them into business solutions.
