Your field of responsibility

This role is with Credit Suisse Finance (India) Private Limited

As an Associate, your responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate financing opportunities at early stages from a risk and returns perspective and accordingly finalize terms
  • Manage credit approvals conversations internally and work with credit risk management for approvals
  • Lead due-diligence process along with corporate finance and credit risk management
  • Seek to help with bookings, funding and hedging (as required)
  • Monitor existing portfolio and take appropriate actions for early stage risk mitigation
  • Coordinate with sales, structuring and coverage to generate trade ideas and provide client solutions

Your future colleagues

APAC Financing Group - position under structured credit lending that requires both structured credit and fundamental credit skills. The candidate will be within India and overlook credit lending transactions (incl. Corporate lending, share-backed lendings, utilize financing, pre-IPO etc.)

Your skills and experience

You are expected to possess the below:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in a major international or domestic investment bank, special situation desks, credit funds or NBFCs
  • Technologically literate, with strong proficiency in Excel and experience in financial modelling
  • Master’s degree from a top University in related fields
  • Attention to detail, outstanding critical thinking, ready to take initiative, able to interact effectively with senior professionals (internal and external), and can work independently as well as part of a team
  • Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking and work on own initiative whilst also working collaboratively and deliver on time with a high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
