Job Role

We are hiring for the Principal to lead our Non-profit advisory business. We are looking for a business leader that is driven by social impact and holds a strong bias towards realizing impact on the ground. The Non-Profit lead will be an integral part of the Sattva leadership team, and contribute towards the long-term growth of the organization and unit. They will be accountable for the overall success of the non-profit business - delivering high value to non-profit customers, overall market engagement and thought leadership and on-going institution-building efforts as we continuously evolve as an organization. This will involve building upon our current portfolio of products and services that are most relevant to the ecosystem, and engaging with non-profit leaders and other key influencers to demonstrate the value that Sattva can provide.

Following are the key responsibilities:

Business Leadership
  • Build and execute our 3-year strategy and annual operating plans to help expand our reach, scale and impact to the maximum number of nonprofits
  • Take accountability of the non-profit P&L, ensuring revenue growth and maximizing profitability without compromising on quality or team well being
  • Build upon Sattva’s expertise of delivering value to non-profits, and grow our portfolio of products and services
  • Be a key member of the Sattva leadership team, contributing towards the long-term growth of both the non-profit business unit and larger institution

Delivery Excellence
  • Oversee non-profit advisory work, advise project teams and provide expert inputs to ensure high quality project delivery
  • Facilitate key client meetings and decision-making workshops to ensure project outcomes are achieved
  • Provide sound governance of all non-profit projects to ensure consistent predictability, profitability and quality
  • Develop, manage and grow working relationships with clients and other key stakeholders

Market Engagement
  • Accountable for market engagement for the non-profit unit including business development, marketing, thought leadership and sales
  • Be a thought leader in the field, embody Sattva’s institutional position on enabling non-profits at scale, and further build upon our credibility and expertise
  • Oversee end-to-end sales process including prospecting, scoping, proposal development, effort estimation, pricing, negotiation, closure and transition to service delivery
  • Strengthen Sattva’s brand in the broader ecosystem by representing the organization in online and offline public forums, evangelizing our points of view

Institution Building
  • Oversee internal strategic initiatives at the unit or organizational level that help contribute towards Sattva’s continuous evolution as an institution
  • Build and strengthen internal systems and processes which contribute towards effective and efficient functioning of the unit and organization
  • Contribute towards the development of junior team members, and towards a strong culture and working environment overall
  • Build, structure and develop knowledge to share internally within the organization
